CLUB SANDWICH is happening again this Saturday above the Public Services Club, 84 William Street, Brisbane. Here is a facey event for it. Three Brisbane bands featuring Happy Times, Lovely Legs & Tiny Spiders. Doors from 7pm. The Conquest Of Noise record stand will be prominent again, every ticket through door goes into a raffle to win a CON record sooprize package!

Here’s a recent Ich Bin Ein Esel review via In-Frequencies / Mess+Noise.

Brisbane shed rock featuring members of The Onyas, The Dangermen and The Boondall Boys. If you are familiar with any of those bands, this doesn’t deviate too far from what probably just popped into your head. The German translation of the band name is “I’m a donkey” and the album cover, designed by The Onyas’ Mad Macka, features the colours of the Federal Republic of Germany. ‘Holy Grail’ takes in ’80s metal and funnels it through a sweat-soaked wife beater. Guitar solos go a bit berserk. ‘Man Punches Shark’ is about a man punching a shark in an attempt to prove that he has the ability and power to “fuck shit up.” by Tim Scott
